Loss of youthful contour below the chin and along the jaw and neckline can have a significant effect on the aesthetic of your facial profile. Progressive loss of elasticity and structure in the neck region can increasingly distort contours and contribute to an aging appearance. For patients who are not yet ready for a surgical procedure such as a necklift, Dr. Matthew White has developed a non-surgical approach for enhancing neck contours called “Total Neckline Rejuvenation.” His comprehensive process addresses four dimensions of an aging neck: (1) bone, (2) soft-tissue canvas, (3) musculature, and (4) skin. Using a combination of non-invasive, FDA-approved treatments, Dr. White lifts and tightens the soft-tissue canvas and skin, relaxes banding of neck muscles, and adds structure to the jawline. This combination of techniques include:

  • RADIESSE®, a long-lasting, collagen-stimulating dermal filler, is injected along the jawline to restore a more youthful contour to your bone structure.
  • BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected to relax and smooth protrusive muscular “turkey bands,” which cause a ropey appearance beneath the chin and along the neck.
  • Ultherapy® targets the deep soft-tissue canvas and skin using ultrasound technology to tighten and stimulate collagen, creating a tighter, more youthful and lifted appearance under the chin and along the neck.

For patients who have also accumulated excess fat below the chin and along the neck, Dr. White can integrate KYBELLA™ injections into the treatment plan. KYBELLA™ is designed to dissolve fat volume and reduce the appearance of a double chin.

Dr. White considers non-surgical Total Neckline Rejuvenation to be his “medium approach” to enhancing the neck contour. For those individuals who require more comprehensive rejuvenation, Dr. White also offers his surgical “large” approach to neckline rejuvenation, which he calls the “Right Angle Necklift.” The Right Angle Necklift delivers the highest degree of neckline rejuvenation and can provide long-lasting improvements across all anatomical dimensions.
